Cardiac Risk

Smoking, diet high in red meat and high-fat dairy products, obesity, and a sedentary lifestyle are all common issues that put people at a higher risk for cardiac disease. However, nearly half of all heart attack patients were never considered by their doctors to have any elevated risk factors for cardiac disease. This leads many people scared and unsure of what they could face in the future. Below is a symptom checklist of several factors that put a person at a higher risk for cardiac disease. However, this list is not comprehensive or exhaustive and should not keep you from seeing a medical specialist if you are worried about cardiac disease.

If you have any of these symptoms, other risk factors, or are concerned about cardiac disease, please contact Houston Health and Wellness today.
